The Denny High Dance Academy is an accelerated pathway through Dance qualifications.

To develop nationally-recognised dancing excellence within Denny High School.
To develop pupils who are role models and ambassadors of excellent school ethos.
To provide opportunities for pupils to develop key physical competencies and levels of fitness through participation in a variety of dance contexts.
To provide opportunities for pupils to learn across the Expressive Arts.
To develop key life skills, among which are curiosity, creativity, constructive criticism, communication, collaboration, compassion, composure and citizenship.
To allow dance to be a medium for building a level of self-confidence that is transferable across all learning.
To inspire and motivate pupils to follow a clear pathway of attainment which can be used as entry into any career pathway post school.

The Dance Academy kit comprises of:

A black half zip or zoodie that has the school badge on the front and 'Dance Academy' on the back.
A black t-shirt with the school badge on the front and your team colour on the back
A black capezio bratek leotard with the school badge embroidered on the front
