Denny High LGBT
Denny High is a Bronze Charter Award holder. We were the first school in Forth Valley to be awarded the Charter Mark. Our staff and pupils work hard to send a positive message, with confidence, that our school is a champion of LGBT inclusion where LGBT staff and learners will be safe, supported and included. The LGBT Charter makes a clear statement that equality and diversity are at the heart of our school.This has involved staff training, celebration days, information sharing, lesson planning and pupil workshops.
In addition to holding the Charter Mark, our school also has an active Diversity Group. You can find out more about the group by speaking to your Head of House or Mr MacKenzie, Miss Buchan, Miss Nelson or Miss Welsh.
