Headteacher's welcome!
I am delighted to have the opportunity to welcome you to the new and improved Denny High School website.
At Denny High we strive to earn success through our key values of determination, aiming high and creativity ensuring that our pupils fully realise their potential. As staff we set high expectations of everyone within the Denny community and will strive for that excellence through the delivery of top quality learning and teaching. We hope you will support us by encouraging your child to play their part in this and that by doing so they will get the very best out of their time here.
At Denny High School we believe that every child has the ability to do well. For some, this will mean excellence in their academic studies, while for others success in areas such as sport, music or art. Our focus is on ensuring that our young people develop as well rounded and developed individuals who can contribute further value to their community.
In order to achieve these goals we need to ensure that we work together as a community staff, parents/carers and pupils. With this in mind I am looking forward to engaging with both pupils and parents/carers to help us evaluate our progress as a school so we can provide the best possible learning experiences.
I look forward to seeing our young people continue to learn, develop and flourish in their education at Denny High School.

Captain's welcome!
We are your School Captains for this year.
It is a real honour to take on this role, and we are so excited for the opportunity to represent our school and support the amazing community we are all part of.
As Captains, our responsibility is to help make sure our school is a safe, welcoming, and positive place for everyone. We want every pupil to feel proud of being a part of Denny High School, and feel like their voice matters. If you ever have suggestions, concerns, or anything on your mind, do not hesitate to speak to us - we are here for you!
As School Captains, we are not only be the face of the school; we hold responsibility for school events throughout the year. We will be working hard behind the scenes to organise a wide range of events and activities, such as the Christmas Dance, Prom, yearbook and more/
Along with this, we will be working closely with our chosen charity, which we will be fundraising for throughout the year. Keep an eye out on our social media platforms for any fundraising events or activities.
We believe strongly in building a bridge between pupils and staff, and ensuring everyone feels heard. No idea is too small, and no suggestion is ever silly - we want to hear you! Together, we can make this school year something special.
We are so grateful for this opportunity, and we can’t wait to work alongside everyone. Here’s to making 2025/2026 the best year yet!
